Terms of Use
Plain-English terms covering how you may use the site, what the code samples are licensed for, and the limits of what is promised.
These terms cover your use of infixtopostfixconverter.com. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
Using the site
Everything here is free to use, for any purpose including coursework and commercial work. No account is required and there is no limit on how many expressions you convert.
What you may not do is interfere with the site or with other people's use of it: no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting, and no automated requests at a volume that degrades the service for others. Reading the pages with a normal browser, or with an ordinary crawler that respects robots.txt, is fine.
Accuracy, and why you should still check
The converters and the code samples are tested, and the process used is described on the about page. Even so, this site is an educational resource, not a certified reference.
Do not submit output from this site as coursework without understanding it, and do not put code from this site into something that matters without reviewing and testing it yourself. If a result looks wrong, it may well be — please report it.
The code samples
The source code published on this site — the C programs and the pseudocode — may be used, modified and redistributed freely, in personal, academic and commercial work, with no attribution required. It is provided as teaching material, without warranty of any kind.
Site content
The written explanations, page designs and images on this site remain the property of the site owner. You are welcome to quote a reasonable extract with a link back. Republishing pages wholesale, or reproducing the site's content as your own, is not permitted.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". No promise is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result it produces is correct or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, all warranties that would otherwise be implied are excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including lost marks, lost data, lost profits or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Links to other sites
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Availability
The site may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice. Pages may be added, rewritten or removed as the content is improved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT JURISDICTION], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
